The cover illo for Dark Vistas #1: Razor Coast is in! To launch Sinister Adventures flagship line, we decided to tap the talents of the best artist in the industry...no other than the god of WAR himself...Wayne Antony Reynolds. Take a look at his vision of The Widow Razor as she tangles with Dalang Jalamar, the Chosen One of Dajobas. Bethany Razor may be about to meet a gory end...unless of course some PCs come to her aid before the Disciple of the Shark God does his worst. |

Eye on Sinister Artists: Kevin Yan |
Art brings great stories to life. An amazing rendering of some dire foe or desolate landscape prods our inner gamer until it screams: "MUST PLAY NOW!" That's why for Razor Coast and all our Sinister projects I am using some of the best known illustrators in the industry, such as the one and only Wayne Reynolds (Pathfinder and Eberron Covers) and Andrew Hou (numerous amazing illustrations in Dungeon Magazine, Pathfinder and Gamemastery Modules). Also though I am hunting down some artists relatively new to our industry whose amazing work hasn't yet been widely featured in gaming products. Kevin Yan just started freelancing for Paizo recently and I was immediately blown away by his work. His art has been featured in comics, Exalted and Pathfinder. You'll always know it when you see it, because it knocks your socks right off and makes you want to grab a die 20 and hurl away! Kevin was one of the first artists I contacted to work on Razor Coast and I was delighted to discover that he is not only talented beyond measure, but also easy to work with and a great guy. So here's a sneak peek of just one of the many amazing illustrations he's doing for Dark Vistas #1: Razor Coast...enjoy. |
